ConSpyer is an online magazine covering fan conventions and art conventions of all varieties. This could mean fantasy conventions, sci-fi conventions, literary conventions, anime conventions, comic book cons, gaming cons, filk, steampunk, cosplay, and so on. Our goal is to provide complete scheduling information as well as news, entertainment, interviews, convention information, con coverage, photos, videos, and anything else that might be relevant for convention-goers.
About cooperative enterprises
Cooperatives are run differently than typical companies, in that the heirarchical nature of leaders and followers is replaced by an atmosphere of mutual cooperation between all members of the organization. It is, essentially, the democratization of the workplace. ConSpyer is a member site of the Home for Artists cooperative, a group of creative types who have come together to make a humble attempt at advancing art and culture in the United States and beyond.

If you are a regular convention-goer anywhere in the United States, then we need you! If you can write about your experiences, or have any other ideas for useful articles that could be helpful to our readers, then we welcome your article submissions! We also love photos and videos. And we're always open to new ideas! Credit, promotion of your link(s), and/or compensation will be addressed on a case by case basis, so please contact us if you are interested.
